The science that studies matter is named chemistry. The alchemists are known as the first chemists. They attempted to create the elixir of life and tried to turn iron ore into gold. The main purpose of the today's chemists is to scrutinize the processes that are happening on the molecular level and get known more about the processes occur between various matters. Another objective of this newest science is to find the laws which may describe the processes and phenomena in chemical reactions. That may help to generate the required matters artificially. To execute the chemical researches, it is essential to be good in physics and biology.

Inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry analytical chemistry, physical and biological chemistry are the parts of general term “Chemistry”.

As the chemists had the beliefs that the organic components have the connections to the life processes the organic chemistry was named such way. It was a wrong idea. As it turned out, lots of organic components are not concerned with any living objects of life processes. Lots of inorganic elements as cooper or iron, for example, play the essential role in the in the reactions of living objects.

The matters that comprise carbon and hydrogen are the main objects of experiments provided by organic chemistry. Their characteristics are studied in detail and the results of analysis are very useful. A huge amount of different products which we utilize in daily life has been invented with help of organic components.

Analytical chemistry studies combinations of organic and inorganic substances. The molecules and atoms of the substance are examined in details by this science. It also executes the researches to determine the composition and characteristics of given elements. Analytical and physical chemistry are quite similar, because they study the similar processes but gain some different data from them. It is founded on the researches and the results are very helpful for providing the defense of the environmental and saving the natural resources.
